My fabric stash has been built up over many years. Some new fabrics I purchased myself, some antique fabrics, some gifts from friends, and some scraps from garments. The indigo-dyed fabric in the borders of this quilt had been embroidered by hand for its previous use. I've had it quite a while waiting for the right quilt to arrive. The top and bottom borders had to be pieced to get enough.
