Witch Hazel - Jelena

I have a plant of this hybrid witch hazel in my yard. It opens its thread-like flowers on the first warm day in February, a real harbinger of spring in the icy winter landscape. The flowers are maybe one or two inches across. They'd be almost unnoticed later in the year, but their coppery color and wonderful fragrance in February makes the winter seem shorter.
